Why I'm Starting This
A year ago my wife and I sold everything and moved our two girls into an RV. People thought we were crazy. Most still do. We’ve got a third girl on the way, still out here, still moving every few weeks, still figuring it out as we go.
The desire came from somewhere real. A pull to do things differently for my family, to not just accept the default life because it’s the one everybody hands you. The road is how we live that out. Slow mornings, a new city or state every few weeks, kids who experience the world instead of being told about it.
What I write about is a little different from how I live, though the two are connected. I went down the Bitcoin rabbit hole years ago and never really climbed out. You start out trying to understand one strange phenomenon and end up reading about monetary history, central banking, economics, religion, psychology, the whole thing. Once you see how money actually works, you can’t unsee it.
So this is where the two parts meet. Money, economics, culture, and the questions that sit under all three. How the systems we live inside actually work, why so few people stop to ask, and what any of it has to do with building a life that’s yours.
I’m not an economist. I’m a father and husband who went down the rabbit hole and started writing about what he found.
Posts go out when they’re ready, not on a schedule. If that’s your kind of thing, stick around.
