I write about money, economics, and culture.
Eight years ago I started buying Bitcoin. I read the books, listened to thousands of hours of podcasts, and slowly worked out that the questions about money are really questions about everything else. Time. Family. What you’re willing to trade, and for what.
These days I write from the road. My wife and I sold the house a few years back and moved into an RV with our two girls. There’s a third on the way. We roadschool, we travel slow, and we try to live deliberately in a world that mostly rewards the opposite.
The writing here sits at the intersection of those two things. How money actually works, who controls it, and what it means to build a life that belongs to you instead of to the system. Sometimes that’s Bitcoin. Sometimes it’s economics. Sometimes it’s just what I’ve learned while raising a family while traveling full-time.
I came to all of this as a curious reader, not a credentialed one. I’m not an economist. I’m a father trying to think clearly about the things that matter, and writing it down as I go.
Posts go out when they’re ready, not on a schedule. If that’s your kind of thing, subscribe and come along.
